Bio

Gus Hurwitz is a law professor at the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he directs the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center and co-directs the Space, Cyber, & Telecom Law Program. His work focuses on the regulation of technology, in particular in telecommunications and emerging technology industries, and has appeared in numerous law reviews and other journals, been cited by courts, Congress, and federal regulatory agencies. He has previously taught at the University and Pennsylvania and George Mason University, and worked in the Telecommunications and Media Enforcement Section of the Department of Justice Antitrust Division. He has degrees in both law from the University of Chicago and economics from George Mason University, along with a background in computer science.
